Tire-Free Rivers
Saint John River, New Brunswick

Saint John, #44 to 50

Jaime, Keemoh, Sobby and Ian Campbell
Jaime, Keemoh, Sobby and Ian Campbell went out Friday, August 31 and found a nest of tires. They didn't have much room in the boat with two dogs but managed four car tires and one partial tire along with three bike tires.

They also counted 26 more tires in a relatively small area. A goldmine if you like!
No dogs next time to make room for more tires.

Ian swooshes the tire in the river to remove the mud so it can be sent for recycling.
Looks like an old beer can in his left hand. Keep your back straight!
Swooping Cloud
A cloud swoops over the Saint John River at Fredericton as ice drifts downstream.
